The fact is that lamps won a 50/50 ball cleanly! of course if he had made contact he would deserve to go, but he didn't. Riley had a direct view on the challenge. So, what he saw was Lamps with an elevated foot & Alonso tumbling over that elevated foot...straight red. If he had the angle that the camera had, I have no doubt that his decision would have been different.
