“According to SkySport24, the lawyers of David Beckham and LA Galaxy have found an agreement on the terms for the termination of his American contract. Now it’s up to Milan to make a deal with the player.”

David Beckham’s permanent transfer to Milan from La Galaxy is looking more and more likely after SkySport24 claimed that the two clubs have reached an agreement to complete the move.

The 33-year-old is currently on loan from the Galaxy, and is due to return by March 9 for the start of the MLS (Major League Soccer) season.

However, ‘Golden Balls’ has been a huge success in Italy, quickly establishing himself as a key figure in the Rossoneri midfield. This has led Milan to try and make the move permanent, a desire shared by Beckham himself.

It appeared at the weekend that a deal could be dead when the Italian club failed to meet Major League Soccer’s Friday deadline with an acceptable offer.

However, Milan have always remained confident, and with a deal with LA Galaxy now seemingly finalised, all that is required to complete the transfer is for Beckham to agree terms with the Rossoneri.

When contacted directly by Goal.com, the MLS were unaware of any deal being in place, and denied that anything was completed regarding Beckham.

    Surprise surprise.

I wonder if this will ruin Donovan’s chances, regardless of whether Bayern wants him or not.

Move on…let the Galaxy rebuild with MLS players & become competitive. The Becks deal has actually killed the product (Gals) on the field.

re: Donovan, same thing, move on…let him go & wish him well!

Donovan will hopefully stay at Bayern, its best for his career although I think he will be back to the Galaxy. Theyre hopeless without either of them…well even moreso without them.

Adidas is making out no matter what. I find it interesting that since his days at ManU he has only played for Adidas sponsored clubs; Real Madrid, Galaxy, and now A.C. Milan. I wonder how much of an influence Adidas has on where he can/can’t play. (Homeboy can certainly sell a jersey and some predators) He spent a winter training with Arsenal (Nike sponsored club) but there was never a big deal made about it.

    anyways, just a thought.
