Hey, look at us on Fox News, where you can enjoy snarky conservative white people make fun of things they don’t understand.

    i used to like michael ian black….now i dont b/c of this…

  3. cm says

Did anyone of them mention or realize we have hosted the World Cup before?

  4. Spark says

and why am I not surprised. I was watching some old conan clips to reminisce last night and they had one of triumph at the 2008 RNC. Some Fox news people started talking to triumph, trying to tell him that their fair and Triumph goes are you kidding me Fox News swings more to the right than Ann Coulter’s strap-on! There that lightens the mood after that clip.

    cm is correct.

The only good thing about this show is the many hot female guests. Turn off the sound and hope the camera focuses on them.

Wow…Absolutely ignorant! That is why you’re on at 2am

The host looks like TFC’s Mo Johnston a bit.

I don’t think they have a clue that we have hosted a very successful world cup before.

That’s why Keith Olbermann calls it “Fox Noise”.

Just because we’re soccerfans doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t have a sense of humour. Of course its obvious that they don’t like soccer, but the extremes they take it to is just satire and I for one laughed.

  9. Henrik says

And I think the racism-tag is going overboard. Maybe its because I’m not American and is used another sense of humour. But there is a long way from saying “greasy foreigners” and “all soccer players are terrorists” to being racist.

  10. Caleb says

I wanted to get the f*** out of america after this

  11. Soto says

Hey, I enjoy good satire, but this was neither clever nor funny. These jokes landed wide of the post and left them looking merely petty.

  12. Henrik says

I’m not saying that neither FOX News nor me has a good sense of humour. But good or bad, thats all what this is. Satire. Don’t get carried away by it.

  13. P.Wlnts says

i remember when fox news sed immigrants are spreading leprosy….

  14. Steve T. says

They’re just drumming up ratings with such ridiculous commentary. Fox news is the national inquirer of news programs. Its ok to giggle at the insanity, but never take it seriously.

  15. xxEightxx says

This is what happens when people without a sense of humor try to be funny. It is clearly a conservative backlash against the associating Obama’s election to a better world, but comes across as bitter and immature.

    @Caleb

When i saw this i said the same thing: would love to live in a country where this shit would have no place.

Then i read about the British citizen who was jsut released from Guantanamo Bay after 4 years. They tortured him by ‘repeatedly slashing his genitals with a razor blade’ and thought dear god get me the hell out of this country.

I used to be in the military. I was working in a facility that ran 24/7 and I was forced to watch this crap… 24/7. Regardless of where they stand politically, I’d be okay with Fox News if they had any semblence of journalistic integrity. They’re just hateful children, making s**t up to try to scare you.
I thought one or two of the jokes were sorta’ funny but overall it’s lame and further proof that they just don’t get it. Sure… soccer will NEVER succeed in this country… forget the fact that it does, and will continue to. Americans don’t care about the World Cup… except that they do. It’s not equal to the Superbowl to us but I wasn’t the only one taking days off work to be packed in to a crowded bar to watch my country lose to Ghana (Ghana? WTF?)
In the end though, we should have a sense of humor and realize that, especially considering the source, this kind of humor is no longer relevant. And oh, referring to peteo; they do have the hottest females in news.

  18. Tonus says

so by Fox logic my recent indoor shoe and shin guard purchase just helped fund the construction of a bomb in some greasy country…

  19. Dude says

Have any of you ever watched Lewis Black on the Daily Show or anything on comedy central? I’m questioning the intelligence of you people if you took that for anything other than joking…

  20. Jared Montz says

Wow! All the comments pretty much sum it up. Seems odd a comedian who is the one of the stars in Sierra Mist commercials which are mostly played during MLS games would be calling soccer people terrorists. I am switching back to SPRITE!!

  21. GB says

God please destroy this. I am truly ashamed, so ignorant!

  22. Soccer4Ever says

You guys embarass me for not getting they knew they were being ridiculous…the part about all those British terrorists…seriously. You all probably thought Jon Swift was offering a real solution in “A Modest Proposal” too.
