We headed down to Honor Fraser today to check out the much hyped KAWS exhibit. As much as I enjoy art, I have never claimed to be any sort of expert on the matter. In fact, art has to be the ultimate objective…well art form. But I will say that there is something about KAWS’ work that makes me not only appreciate what he does but inspires me as well. And what better thing can someone say about art.

After the jump are plenty more pictures showcasing the art and style that embodies one of the most talked about artists of our time.

It’s amazing to see the lines, coloring and shadow techniques that he uses. Up close it goves you a true sense of the type of artist that Kaws is.

As a kid that grew up in the 80’s, the smurf isnpired pieces held my attention for quite awhile.

I would love to have been in the room when they discussed leaving one of his sculptured heads on the ground…

His artwork just doesn’t seem to end…wrapping all the way around to the very back of the canvas…details…
