Gold Cup 09: Rise of the Super Stadiums

Although quickly retracted from CONCACAF.com, a list of venues for the 09 Gold Cup was briefly posted and included several of the largest new US stadiums.

New Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Irving, Arlington TX, better known locally as “JerryWorld“, may yet get it’s first taste of futbol.

The 13 venues are:
Gillette Stadium, Boston (Foxborough, Massachusetts)
New Soldier Field, Chicago
Crew Stadium, Columbus, Ohio
Giants Stadium, New York (East Rutherford, New Jersey)
Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium (RFK), Washington
Reliant Stadium, Houston
New Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Dallas (Arlington, Texas)
FIU Stadium, Miami
University of Phoenix Stadium, Phoenix (Glendale, Arizona)
Oakland-Alameda Country Coliseum, San Francisco (Oakland)
Qwest Field, Seattle
and
The Home Depot Center, Los Angeles (Carson, California)
