The new England Kit

We already showed you a sneak peak (see above pic) and said that this is looking like the new English national team jersey. I’m not 100% sure that this is is the final product (at least I hope it’s not). Anyway, head here for a short interview with Umbro’s VP of football where he talks about the new jersey and about how they involved Capello in the process and made sure he co-signed the jersey before finalizing the design.

Why is the star on the shoulder?
I doubt this is the real jersey. They’ll have to wear a WC patch on the right sleeve, which will cover up that logo. I doubt Umbro’s that stupid.

I was wondering why the star was on the shoulder as opposed to being above the crest.
I can see that there’s an indentation where the WC logo would be.

absolute awful, it surely can’t be the final product. But i guess i havent bought an england shirt for God knows how long…and i’m not going to start again if it’s this shit.
This has gotta be the worse shirt i have ever seen, looks like the sort of thing you would expect some 3rd world country to wear. If i played for England wearin this shirt i think i’d be embarassed!!
It´s a fake, the new kit has a newly designed crest, that pic has the old one on it. The new one is all white, no trims, just a plain white collar. Quite retro
