I'm not a fan of either team (Seattle or Portland) but their rivalry is one of the most beautiful things in American sports today. MLS needs both teams in the league. Vancouver would be nice too. Those three teams, although labelled as "expansion" teams have the history and traditions that make them a better choice than any new team. I was against the Barcelona bid over those three but if it was in San Diego instead of Miami, I'd be all about it. I kinda' wonder if the vote would be considered if Baseball wasn't involved. It sounds like a good deal Poulson is making covering the over-runs. The nature of how bids are made guarantee that there will be overages.

Deal is still not done, we find out tomorrow. I expect to see the entire OW crew in Portland in 2011. Beers are on me! Even for Dunny! BPFC shirts will be repped!
