Nemanja Vidic Red Card

Serbian International and Manchester United centerback Nemanja Vidic has been handed a two match ban following his Red Card sending off for pulling down Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard during a clear goal scoring opportunity as United fell 4 – 1 at home.

It was Vidic’s second red card of the season – the other also came against Liverpool for two bookable offences in a 2-1 defeat at Anfield in September. Along with this Saturday’s trip to Fulham, Vidic is unavailable for the game at home to Aston Villa on April 5, one that could switch to April 4 if United play in the Champions League on April 7.
