DC United’s Bone Marrow Donor Drive

DC United teamed up with Soccer Unites Utah and DKMS to host a bone marrow drive on Sunday in search of a match for Real Salt Lake midfielder Andy Williams’ wife Marcia.
“Even though it was a rainy, dreary day, more than 100 people including D.C. United staff and fans showed up to be screened at D.C. United’s bone marrow drive in support of Marcia Williams. In addition, almost all of the D.C. United players were tested in hopes to be a match. It is such a great thing when the community comes together for such an important cause.”

You may have covered it and I missed it, but FCD did this also on Saturday prior to their final preseason game against CAP. The preliminary numbers I heard was over 300 donor sign ups.
