Ryan Seacrest received an email from a Cypress AYSO coach asking us for a little help. The Cypress Cyclones were placed second in a tournament to a very amazing Huntington Park AYSO soccer team. The winner of the tournament moved on to represent South Cali and compete in the California Championships in Davis, CA. However, the Huntington Park, having placed 1st wasn’t able to make the trip due to the families of the young girls not being able to afford the trp. The Cypress AYSO coach, Bernadette Arizmendi sent us an email asking us to help the same team she lost against in the finals!
Definitely Hit the Jump and take a listen to how Ryan and KIIS-FM got together with the WPS’ Los Angeles Sol to do something special for the children….
The new Women’s Professional soccer team, Los Angeles Sol and Ryan Seacrest are coming together providing transportation and lodging to Maria Espinoza and her Huntington Park American Eagles. And not just that, both the Cypress Cyclones and Huntington Park Eagles will be honorary guest to this Sunday’s El Sol home opener at the HDC.

Ya, this is going to help lose the “Gay” stigma that surrounds soccer here in the states.
This is such a happy story – thanks to all of you who pitched in to make this happen for those hard working sweet girls on the team from HTP. And ,true, a great life lesson to the Cypress team and all of us. yea !
Thank you all for all of the wonderful things you have said. All of this has touched so many hearts and all I really wanted was the Huntington Park girls to make it to Davis. But I am glad the story warmed so many hearts!

Good Morning Ryan,
My name is Yolanda and I am emailing you to share something with you about my 14 year old daughter.
Her father and I were going to have a Quinceneria for her in August 2010. It is a mexican tradition as you know. Unfortunately her father had two eye surgeries in one year. Feb.2009, and in Sept. 2009 which lead to him to loosing his eye.
My daughter Arlene sat down with her father and myself and said that she did not want to have a Quiceneria because she did not want to put us in a bind, especially with the way the economy is at the moment. Her father was on disability for 6 months last year do to his surgeries.
My daughter Arlene is a terrific girl who has been a great student and has been on Honor Roll for the last 3 years. She is a young lady who is full of life, and is always a pleasure to be around with. She is very out going and has a bubbly personality. All her teachers just love her. I always get great complements on her when I go to teach conferences.
She is a TOTAL JONAS BRO. fan. Her bedroom walls a covered with all of their posters. I was going to try surprise her with front row seats or even back stages for the next Jonas Bros. Tour coming up this Sept., but the hall that I was going to get for her Quinceneria Party kept my of $750.00 deposit .
So I was wondering if you will be having any kind of contest soon to win tickets for their concert, because I would like to participate to try to win some for her and her sister.
This would be so rewarding for her and I would just love to see her face light up if she gets that chance to meet them. This would be something she would never ever forget.
I know that deep down inside she wanted her Quinceneria just like her sister but our finances were a problem and she took it upon her self to give this big day up so her farther and I would have this money burden on us. Maybe if things get a better and I start working again, I just might be able to have at least a small Sweet 16 for her. But I know for a fact that if she gets to see and meet the Jonas Bros. She will be so great full.
So Ryan please let me know if you have any contest coming up soon. If you don’t have any contest, I would greatly appreciate if I could purchase back stages passes through you so I know that I will be able to guaranty the best gift every for her because not to many young ladies at her age will give up their Princes Day because of money. Not too many would take things like that into consideration and she did and to me that makes so proud to know that my daughter is not a selfish person and that she has heart.
I just love my daughter so much and I just want to try to make her dream come true.
Thank you for your time. Hope to hear back from you soon…
Sincerely yours,
Yolanda Martinez
