Humanoid Players “Learn”/Target Humans

New robotic developments at FIRA (Federation of Robot-Soccer Association): Researchers released a study this week showing they had refined a technique known as machine-learning, edging closer to the 2050 goal of robotic victory over humans in the sport of soccer.

Basically, the scientists were able to teach a virtual player simple reactions to visual stimuli — based upon how real humans react in the same situation.
