Rosicky Trying To Make It Back Before End Of Season
Filed under: Arsenal, InjuriesCzech International and Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky is allegedly on the mend following more than a year on the sidelines after injuring a tendon in his left knee against Newcastle in an FA Cup match in late January 2008. Fighting through subsequent back to back knee surgeries and missing out on Euro 2008, the 28 year old is still hoping to play some type of role in Wenger’s squad before the end of the season.

Rosicky told Arsenal TV Online: “I am much better. The bad things are behind me, there were times when I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel. I would two steps forwards and three back.
“I now have a groin injury, but after the long-term problems with my knee, which was a very rare injury, I know it will be all right because I was already doing almost everything on the pitch.”
However, the midfielder is confident his rehabilitation will soon come to an end - after admitting: “I had thoughts I would never play again.”
