Adobe Flash Coming to a TV Near You

This news is pretty incredible, and potentially a game changer. Adobe has announced that it will be bringing Adobe Flash to television, set top boxes, Blu-Ray’s and other home entertainment devices. So whatever you have been watching on your computer, be prepared to be able to watch that on your TV screen from the comfort of your couch.
Basically this new Adobe Flash platform will allow you to switch between television programming and web content on your TV without needing to hook up a computer to your TV. Youtube, Hulu… and lets just say that whatever types of other “programming” that you like to watch online will now be available to watch on your TV. This marks a major stepping stone to the day when TV and web content will fully converge. Available the second half of 2009.
Wait…there are people who dont have a computer plugged into the vga\hdmi input on your tv? What do you have 1200 baud modem? Your mouse have two buttons? A move like this is like a company inventing a faster rotary phone, or a better leaded gasoline car.
