If you are in the LA area this weekend and looking for something different to do, head down to the Santa Monica Pier for the LA BBQ Festival.

The event will feature authentic ‘cue from Texas, Kansas City, and Chicago, in addition to the best pitmasters in Los Angeles. The 2009 LA BBQ Fest will have more beer, more pitmasters and more seating than last years event, and in turn, quicker lines. With live entertainment, a beautiful setting, and authentic, award winning BBQ, the event promises to be amazing.

General Admission: $10      VIP Admission: $50

I’ve never been to this event, so I can’t really say too much about it. However, eating some good food as the sun sets over the Pacific is never a bad way to spend some time.
