Spanish head coach Vicente del Bosque has named his 23 man “who’s who” squad, something Duncan Oughton / Simon Elliot and the New Zealand squad won’t exactly be thrilled about, as they face Spain in their opening Confederations Cup match on June 14th.

“We have to enhance this competition which has been won by big teams,” said the Spain coach. ” All the teams taking part will be there with their best players so we will also go with our best team. We have six young guys, who could compete with the U-21s; this is the best system of renovation, although the base of the team are the players from EURO 2008. We want to win.”
