I wonder if it is because the level of play at Fulham is better and the speed of play is quicker? Dempsey used to be exciting to watch. When he first started out he would take on players 1v1, show some flare and pace. I feel it is difficult to really criticize professional athletes if you yourself have never played at the same level but at the very least I hope he comes around to his old ways - homie is very talented with the ball at his feet. The last player that was exciting to watch was John O'Brien who after Tab Ramos is one of the best players to ever come out of this country. It seems like he feels he's an automatic starter and the work ethic just isn't there. He seems like a totally different player for club and country. Deuce needs to atone for Costa Rica in these. I thought he had a shocker of a first half. When Bradley took Torres off instead of Deuce my jaw literally hit the floor.
