The leaders of the supporters groups actually lit the flares and held them the entire time. They then walked them down to stadium security who had buckets of water. This was an extremely superiour example of how fans can create a SAFE awesome atmosphere during a game AND work with the stadium to do so. VERY impressed with it and it was crazy that all the flares went off at once, nicely done Chicago.
