American singer-songwriter Keren DeBerg is an indie artist whose song “Get Up and Go” has been selected by UEFA to be the official song of the upcoming Under 21 tournament in Sweden. The song is featured on every television program around the world related to the tournament, will be the player walk on song for every match, and will be preformed by her, live at the championship in Malmo on 29 June. A true independent artist who has steadily built success through television placements on shows like NBC’s “Scrubs”, the WB’s “Everwood”, “Jack and Bobby”, MTV’s “Laguna Beach”and “The Hills” and the online distribution of her two full length albums.

The American singer-songwriter first shot to public attention after a number of her songs were featured on the television series Scrubs, having left her native Miami to pursue her dreams in New York a day after graduating from high school. Now based in Los Angeles and with her second album, Overwhelmed, released this November, DeBerg’s music is also well known to viewers of MTV shows Laguna Beach and The Hills.

Get Up and Go was co-written and produced by Van Romaine, founder of Live Wire Audio and a successful musical director, writer, producer and musician for the likes of Enrique Iglesias, Billy Joel, Deep Purple, The London Symphony Orchestra, Howard Jones and Kim Wilde. Together, he and DeBerg have combined their talents to conjure up a musical experience sure to get fans in the mood for next summer’s competition.
