Consider this: If Rossi played for American suburban soccer clubs during his teens, would he be as good as he is now? His blood is Italian, his skills are Italian, and obviously he feels Italian too. Sure, it sucks that he's already better than anyone who has ever pulled on a U.S. jersey, but don't blame him for following his dream. If it was 1995, no one would have even noticed that he left.

F-that, you traitor apologists. Rossi is a great player but a little puke with no soul. He should never step foot in the US again. His family should leave the US and go back to Italy.

Rossi is a DICK! sure he went to Parma when he was 12 or 13 but he then went to Man U soon after and now he's at Villareal. He barely spent time in Italy. He was born and lived the majority of his life in the US. That's who he should be playing for plain and simple.

If you had the choice to play for Italy or the US what would you pick? Sure we would like to have him, and everyone who is saying "we didnt want him anyway" is lying, but we dont and he is now playing for one of the best countries in the world. The choice was easy. Play for a team that has a chance to win the world cup or any tournament they play in or a team that isnt going to win a tournament other than the Gold Cup during his career. Play for a country that will idolize you for playing for them or a country that doesnt even know who you are or what you do...

All I can say is......get me some Jones of Germany ASAP!!! He better be in the Gold Cup Squad...Jozy needs way more minutes and better be double booked for the Gold Cup......we need to bring up younger US internationals (dual citizens) to the SR team so they feel that the USSF is interested in playing them on the senior team!

I'm just glad now that against brazil we won't have a too defensive minded midfielder (no Clark-suspension & no-Pablo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) this next game, the US needs to get Freddy Adu in there...he and Jozy have lit Brazil up before.
