A few weeks ago I played futsal with Wayne Routledge of QPR and Joleon Lescott of Everton. We played at someone’s house that has a turf futsal court about the size of a large tennis court. I go to play there twice a week and on one of those days these guys showed up. Wayne Routledge has played for Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspurs, Portsmouth, Fulham, Aston Villa, Cardiff City, and now QPR. He was the quickest soccer player I have ever seen!

His feet were like “sparks fliying”. It was unbelievable. I had to defend him a few times and man, he made me look silly. I stole it from him once though. That felt good. If he is that fast, I can’t believe how fast Messi or Ronaldo are. That’s just beyond me. Lescott was on my team. We worked well together. I gave him a ball that he scored off of, and he passed me a great ball that I put in. I had a blast! It was another one of those experiences that I will never forget.
