where is torres?
i love that we are gonna be able to get a look at all this young talent playing together
Forward line looks good (although I would like to see Buddle there), but other than that it’s a weak roster. Our outside backs should be strong. I’m surprised Torres, Wynn, and Beasley aren’t there since they didn’t get any (much) time at the Confed Cup. Adu better start every game.
Busch AND Pause?! Those two are the core to the Fire…
So pumped to see Logan Pause getting called up! He deserves it. Lookin forward to him playing well!
He would give Bradley much more freedom if he played in behind him. Bradley is best when he is able to attack more throughout the game. Clark doesnt seem to just defend like Logan does. He is the reason the Fire can play a more flowing attacking style and doesnt get the credit he deserves. He is the American Makelele. Glad to see him get the call for him personally but I’m not so glad for the Fire.
And why bring Brian Ching into the squad? Is he going to do something different than run around, win some headballs, and miss opportunities?
I seriously LOL’d at the Brian Ching burn. But seriously, why not give more of the European based players some playing time since they’re off? I am glad to see MLS’ers Quaranta, Holden, Cooper, and Conrad get on the team though.
