Where Will You Be Watching US vs Brazil?

Watching with fellow USA fans is the only way to go for this one.  Where will you be watching?

Here is an American Outlaws email that went out this morning to the Dallas guys:

“All Outlaws and friends of Outlaws:

On Sunday, we play for a world championship against 5-time World Cup winners Brazil.  Our first world championship EVER.  Older Outlaws like myself have been waiting … literally … a lifetime for a day like Sunday.  You young bucks might see days like this 2-3 more times.  Count yourself lucky that it comes so soon for you.

Count yourselves lucky, but do not let this opportunity pass you by.  Do not let it pass your friends by.  Do not let it pass your family buy.  It is, literally, the most important American national sporting event since February 22, 1980, over 29 years ago.  How many of you aren’t yet 29 years old?  And literally, we get the chance to make history.

Our gracious watching party hosts, Trinity Hall Irish Pub, respectfully asks that we honor their dining room and their role in growing our group.  But … Trinity Hall also offers an outdoor patio, and the Mockingbird Station offers an outdoor pavilion, and there are parking garages and roads and driveways and train stations literally steps away from Trinity Hall … if you get my drift.  Let’s bring everything we have!

I urge you all to do all of the following:

1.  Come early, no later than noon.

2.  Wear your colors.

3.  Bring your iPods with any music you like, I’ll play it on the iPod boombox.

4.  Bring your friends and family.

5.  Bring your drums and noisemakers and trumpets and streamers and flags and most importantly, your VOICES!

6.  GO F***ING CRAZY FOR THE YANKS!!!!!  (outside, of course!)

You can grab your seats in the main dining room at your convenience, there will probably be some TVs on the patio.  But LET’S MAKE OURSELVES HEARD!

Again, keep it outside and everything will be just dandy!

I’ve been waiting, literally, almost 43 years for this moment, and I would be proud for each and every one of you to share this moment with me.  As I write this, I cannot imagine how I might react should we win … tears, disbelief, relief, utter joy second only to family moments.  It’s almost too good to be true.

See you there!”
