Ref lost control of this game about 5 minutes in. Was watching the game with a friend who is a casual fan and I explained to him that sometimes you just know there will be multiple ejections. My point was easily proven.
Aguirre’s foot to the stomach region of Ricardo Phillips should earn him a multiple match suspension from CONCACAF and FIFA..
What’s up with Mexican National Team’s coaching staff? First the Frankie Hejduk incident, now this? Pure bush league.
I’m hoping for a long suspension (ideally including the Azteca match-up in August).
I am so sad that sports are so wild. Decent public can’t enjoy it anymore. It was the wrong arena for the Panamanians; Houston is full of Mexicans, too sad seeing the public throwing things to the players. I thought that the Panamanians were plying rough at the beginning but were the Mexicans who did it.
Anyone see that a fan is holding an open switchblade at :36 in the video? They need to bump up the security when FMF comes to town!

Honestly, is anybody shocked by a match involving a Mexican team (club or national) turning into a brawl anymore? This was just a continuation of the SuperLiga matches on a larger scale. How much longer is FIFA going to let this crap go unpunished?
What the hell was Aguirre thinking? There has to be a suspension from CONCACAF/FIFA. You can’t be kicking at players from the bench.
And who put that bench so close to the line? There was almost no space there. I am not familiar with that stadium, but the next time there’s a soccer match the officials should see about keeping the bench farther away from the line. You can’t make it that easy for Aguirre (I guess Aguirre couldn’t resist the urge to play soccer again) or anyone else to interfere with play.
Just another typical Mexican soccer game…. Why are Mexican soccer players so annoying?

I just wanted to point the Sven just wrote the line “I BELIEVE ‘YOUR’ THE DUMBASS” when in fact, it should be ‘YOU’RE’ because you are using the contraction “you are”, not showing possession…which, in turn, you would use the spelling YOUR. Just thought that was funny to call someone a dumbass and put emphasis on the a word that is spelled wrong.

If anyone on here thinks that what happened in this game was the epitome of shame in sports, you have oviously never watched a local match in your life. oh and dont extend that garbage of professional players should be the exception and not the rule. While i appreciate players like Ronaldhino and Messi who exemplify professionalism everywhere they go, I have seen them get furious at other teams who jeopardize their healthy bodies and thus their career but they unlike everyone on this thread (including myself) understand what is professional futbol and any other opinion but their own is not legitimate. Therefore basing your opinion on race alone is also stupid b/c no one ever thought the u.s. would be a main competitor for the world cup but they are the champions beating Mexico as the favorite. Iam disappointed at the seris of events that el tri is going through but I am a diehard fan and none of you stupidasses who know shit about it will change my opinion. The amazing match that I was lucky enough to witness against Venezuela 4-0 Ja Ja !!!!! showed me that El Tri is an extremely viable team that can v=beat anyone within the concacaf distyrict I wish them the best in all they do. Oh and another thing, if Panama thought they were going to win the game a putasos, that just shows the lack of ability and talent they actually have. YEAH …the Panama shows how clean they are . Did you guys see the foul they committed on the US player for the PK?? Yeah that was a really clean play!!!!The game against Mexico and Panama, they sure displayed of unsportmanslike ,dirty ,cry babies. The only shame in that game that the coach decided to go and kick the Panama player after his playes get kicked ,elbowed and spit up all day long!
