With initial talk circling around the 20 Million Pound mark, Manchester City have had their 25 Million Pound bid for Togo International Emmanuel Adebayor accepted by the Arsenal board with only personal details and the mandatory physical left to sort out.

The Gunners are willing to offload the Togo star, who is now set to join Carlos Tevez at Eastlands.
Manager Mark Hughes has moved quickly to wrap up the deal and Adebayor is expected to sign a five-year deal worth £170,000 a week.
Pairing Adebayor and Tevez – whose £25m arrival was confirmed last night – would be a coup for City as they look to break into the top four of the Barclays Premier League.
Meanwhile, Chelsea captain John Terry’s interest in a move to City remains very strong and Hughes also still intends to sign Everton defender Joleon Lescott for £20m.
With Hughes already having signed Roque Santa Cruz and Gareth Barry this summer – both for £18m – the club could take their spending beyond £150m in the unlikely event that all their intended deals come off.
