New Boots…
Filed under: BootsSo it is time to get new boots again. These are mine in the picture above. They are the white Ronaldinhos that I painted black. These boots have been perfect for me for the past couple of years but Nike has stopped making them. I have to make a change. I am looking for a narrow leather shoe. Any suggestions?

aint that the worst? Thats why when I find a pair of boots i like i get four or five pair. Im on my last pair of pumas i bought about a year ago, and im hoping they can get me to the end of the summer season, but these new age turf fields really eat them up.
@Eight ya its really too bad. That is a great idea though. I use my boots a lot and they do get beat up. Thanks for the tip!!
footboots.com is your friend !
im diggin the new Puma v-Konstrukt III. you can always hit up the vapor line…the new superflys are dope and pretty narrow…not leather though i dont think. what about some nike tiempo legends?

@ tim in houston I just looked up those pumas and they are sick!! I like the new tiempos too. They look really nice. Thanks for the suggestions!
the underarmors are comfy, pricy tho
What you need to check out is the new Adipure II (aka Kaka’s). I had the originals, the insoles cracked at the ball of the toes. Sent them back to Addidas and they sent me a new pair. Spoke with the rep at Addidas and he said they fixed the problem in the 2nd model. The shoes are light, great touch and durable; feels like a slip-on shoe.
Adi-pure all the way mate, I get a chubby everytime I put them on!
Also will give a shot out to the new nike lasers (Rooneys)… which are great shoe, just heavier (think basketball shoe feel). However, the lasers have amazing traction on turf, grass or hard ground as well as a good touch. Downside - these shoes take sometime to break-in and get used to. You will definetly have to modify the way you play to
Puma v.108 kangaroo leather…got them last week and I love them. I have always worn adidas up until now and I may not go back.
Tiempo boots are nice as well as the Adipure, can’t go wrong with either one.
What kind of paint did you use?
They aren’t leather, but I just picked up these limited edition boots from Nike.

Yeah, creation of that line halted when Ronaldihno disappeared… how much are you willing to spend? I can tell you first had that you should definitely check out the new vapor 5s, and if you’re really willing to spend money, the superfly’s are incredible with Nike’s new flywire technology… other than that, don’t hesitate to check out the Nike legend iii’s.
there are incredible sales over at http://www.soccercorner.com
i’d put you in a Legend III
Adidas adipure, hands down the softest and lightest K-Leather shoe I have ever owned. I’m still rocking the original version, so I can’t attest to the new ones with side lacing, and you can get them (the originals) at certain websites for dirt cheap
My opinion, get your hands on a pair of Diadora LX K Pro’s…..very very comfy cleats, and a decent price too!
Lotto Stadio… old school studs on the bottom and a classic look. Look great when you unstitch the Lotto logo as well
just don’t go from the beautiful feel of k-leather to plastic…those kangaroos are tasty too

these are steep but nice and they’re supposed to double for 3G as well but you can’t ever go wrong with a pair of predators- you can still get the dios’ too…in black, paint free
Thanks for all of the suggestions!! This makes everything a lot easier.
