Best nba player award should have gone to Kobe bryant, the most dominating player in the league.Kobe is now, and he still holds the torch!

That’s awesome to see Don Meyer win that award. He’s an incredible basketball coach with incredible character. If you haven’t heard of him, do a google search to read up on his story.

I’m glad that Marta did not win “Best International Female Athlete,” give her some humility!

Yay for the Upset! Totally deserved, definitely on the front pages of numerous international newspapers.

With all those hot female athletes, there had to be a kickin after-party. Some aggressive TOW reader needs to find the skinny on who hooked up.

roger federer should have won an award. he just won his 15th major, and probably is the greatest tennis player of all time.

Manny Pacquiao as the best fighter is a joke. Any boxer winning best fighter is a joke. When are people gonna wake up and see that MMA is the real deal. Fedor, Anderson Silva, and Georges St. Pierre all need to be above Pacquiao in that category.

Tim in Houston: Why does Usain Bolt winning best international athlete come as a suprise to you? He was arguably the athlete of 2008 and produced two of the most jaw dropping individual performance in Olympic history. The other nominees dont come close

David, David, David – you must not have attended school because you can not spell, it is spelled TIM TEBOW. And he was selected by the fans as Best College Athlete. You say Heisman? If you recall last year, he received that accomplishment & placed it with all of the others. We here at Gator Nation rally around all of our Gator athletes. Because it is Great to be a Florida Gator!
