Patrick Vieira to Spurs?

Filed under: Arsenal, Inter Milan, Tottenham

The Mirror is reporting that not only will Inter Milan let Patrick Vieira leaveĀ  for Tottenham, but they will “make up any shortfall in Patrick Vieira’s wages to push through his proposed move to Spurs.” Wow! Anyway, it sounds like Vieira may be unwilling to make the move because of his “affinity” to Arsenal.

And, how bad do Inter have to want him gone to be willing to cover part of his wages?

If this happens, I will be very upset, extremely upset. My animosity toward Tottenham is 2nd only to my disdain of Manchester United.

I hope he retires instead of playing for Spurs…pure blasphemy…

It will not happen…..utter sacriledge…Vieria’s last kick for Arsenal won the last trophy in a penalty shootout vs Man Utd. You cant write endings like that, wont happen!

This would be good for the player, as he will be able to see what it is like to play for a team that has by far the better fans…Real fans that show their support during both good and bad times.

Very well put Robbinsmen. I could not agree more. Were you actually a member of Robbins Men?

AGREED! I am a West Ham fan. Spurs supporters are much better and loyal than Arsenal fans. I think Patrick would enjoy Spurs, with or without a trophy. Good for him!!

how can vieria enjoy playing for a team that has achieved nothing in the last twenty years depsite paying over the odds for ageing stars or players that never live up to their potential…given choice players only move one way across north london and its away from seven sisters…spurs fans are loyal to players like robbie keane, nuff said!another one of arrys pipe dreams, unlike owen vieria will not ruin his legacy with a PROPER football club to get his wages at this mickey mouse outfit
