He was a part of 2009 / 10 Jersey release show despite the fact that President Massimo Moratti went on record admitting they were in discussions with Barcelona over a Zlatan Ibrahimovic / Samuel Eto’o swap. Now that the clubs have come to an agreement over the 27 year old Swedish International and 28 year old Cameroonian International, it’s all down to the individual wage agreement and personal terms for the swap to be official.

Barcelona have confirmed they have agreed a deal for the Internazionale striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with their own forward, Samuel Eto’o, travelling in the opposite directionl. The conclusion of the deal depends on both agreeing personal terms, according to Barcelona’s official website.
The fee involved was not specified, although Spanish media have reported it will be in the region of €40m. Barca’s out-of-favour midfielder Aleksandr Hleb could also be heading to Inter on loan as part of the deal.
Ibrahimovic would be Barcelona’s second buy of the close season following the signing of Inter’s Brazilian left-back, Maxwell, in a €4.5m deal which could eventually rise to €5m.
