After being tracked for over two years before being purchased by the old regime for 20 Million Euros, new Real Madrid head coach Manuel Pellegrini has come out publicly stating that Dutch International Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has been deemed excess and his services are no longer required.

Los Merengues are desperate to get rid of the Dutch forward, but he has so far rejected all the offers presented to him. Speaking to Sport, Pellegrini made his position abundantly clear, saying, “I have spoken with every player at the club.
“Huntelaar knows my position. There are too many forwards, and they cannot all stay.
“He knows that he is not being counted on. He is no longer required.
“The problem is that there are too many forwards, and not enough room for them.”
Having rejected a move to Stuttgart, Huntelaar is thought to be holding out for a move to England, with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal having shown an interest lately.
