We take a lot of pictures in our daily lives. They represent experiences and events that we somehow manage to finagle ourselves into on a pretty consistent basis. Some are soccer related, some have seemingly little to do with the sport, but they all have something to do with the lifestyle that we live. I’ve been getting more and more requests to share more pictures, so I figured it’s a good time to start posting more on here. Some might seem pretty obscure or incredibly random, but so is a majority of my life…so that kind of works.
Since this post is about pictures, this seems like a good opener. I have no idea how I cracked this lens protector, but let’s just say it served it’s purpose with honor. Thank you for taking one for the team.
S. Dot and I were playing Golden Tee in Hermosa over the 4th of July weekend when I saw a foosball table that had the Dallas Tornados logo in the middle of the table. I’m not sure where or when they picked up this old school gem…but I was tempted to make an offer on it.
When we were at the Club America v Inter match at Stanford Stadium, this chick in the green dress runs on the field at the end of the game. She wanted nothing else than to hug a couple of her heroes. Seemed harmless enough…although local authorities had a very different view point of the situation.

In case of emergency…
When I was a young buck coming up, “bumblebee” soccer socks were the bizness. This dude kind of reminded me of those times.
Assigned seating in the press box. They decided to name me Mr. Winger. Next time, just put it under beans…
My memory of taking this is about as fuzzy as the picture itself…
This scooter looked so lonely and abandoned. I wanted to take it and cruise down the boardwalk, but I think someone would have missed it..
Nothing we make gets produced without submitting the all important “tech sheet.” And no, this isn’t an all black shirt…
Pretty sure I have no idea what was going through the mind of the person who designed this sign…or who co-signed on getting it made.
Last one for now…is there really a place to live called Los Banos? I really need more info on this…
