It’s always an amazing atmosphere when the United States plays Mexico, but things will be even more interesting during the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifier on August 12th after the FMF announced they’ve sold out every ticket at Azteca, especially coming off the backside of the Gold Cup Finals.

More than two weeks before Mexico hosts the United States in a World Cup qualifying match, all tickets have been sold for the team’s critical meeting.

Mexico apparently rode a wave of euphoria after Sunday’s 5-0 Gold Cup win over the U.S. that helped drive ticket sales.

“The Mexican national is grateful for the unconditional support of its Number 12, who always supports, motivates and encourages,” the FMF said in a press release.
