Caught the early afternoon flight out of SLC and proceeded to make my way down to Houston for Saturday night’s Dynamo vs DC United at Robertson Stadium, but first had to catch up with FC Uptown when I got into town.

Wasn’t the best of weather when we landed and I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw rain in Houston.

Can’t ever complain about the treatment you get over at the Hyatt Regency on Louisiana.

The Dynamo season ticket holders in front of Dave Johnson and I helped bring down the back drop after the pre – game show since we like opening up the windows to get just a bit more feel of the game.

Right before kickoff… And if you’ve ever wondered how we communicate back to the truck during the show, the box to the left of the tv monitors is the key. The white “talk back” button gets me back off air, while both knobs control the volume, one for the guys in the truck and the other for hearing play by play. The bottom monitor shows the program live, while the top show the build on replays to be shown if they can’t be shown right away.

But overall, a great view from the booth.
