You know what is really stupid annoying? How the British media makes it a point to call out people that call football soccer, soccer is a british term referring to the old FA players and the only reason they changed to football was b/c BBC just decided they were going to stop using the word at some point…soooo stupid…They coin it as an american term, which it really isn’t…

The only joy i have as a Red bull season ticket holder is knowing that Jozy is in a better place. 8-12 goals for young Jozy…Guaranteed.

Seriously…. a better place? did you see Hull the last half of the season? plus brown is their coach, would rather have bruce arena (who i don’t like) than brown…

  6. Steve T. says

Arena isnt our coach…its the deplorable Juan Carlos Osorio. we have 2 wins from our last 20, and none in 12 straight. We have the worst roster in the league, the least heart, the worst stadium with the worst playing surface, the worst concessions even. Trust me sir, Jozy is in a better place.

lol steve, you think NYRB will do leaps and bounds better next season w/ the new stadium? hate to say it, but they need a lot more than that.

tim, when did I ever say this? You might be mixing your threads.

Thanks to all the Phil Brown Janet Jackson comments I’ve read on every site that has reported on this, I can’t hear or read his name without imagining him in spandex biker shorts dancing a routine to Alright. Of course, with the headphones. Thanks!

Selfishly, I just want him to get some playing time. Getting a chance to play against teams in Premier League, he will be facing some of the best players in the world. It is just what the doctor ordered in getting our team in shape when the US starts facing some of the worlds best next summer. Hopefully we see the same for LD soon.

  13. tim in houston says

Good to see a majority of the US players getting some notice. I see LD going to Italy or Germany. Onyewu will become a better player w/ Milan and so will Clark w/ Livorno. Rennes first match is tomorrow so Boca will continue to improve before the world cup.

Not sure why no one has signed up LD though…I wouldnt mind seeing him in the Bundesliga along side Bradley @ Borussia.
