Charlie Davies Scores Two Goals in Debut

Our boy CDavies came on in the second half in his Ligue 1 debut for Sochaux and bagged himself two goals! Great debut for Charlie to get a couple goals under his belt, but unfortunately Sochaux lost 3-2 against Bordeaux. After his great goal against Mexico and his two goal debut for Sochaux, Charlie is killing it right now. Congrats on the goals and keep doing the damn thing!

That is awesome news! Too bad his goalie looked like poo in the first half and Chamakh wasn’t signed by any of the 137 teams that were after him. CD=next great(perhaps only great?) U.S. striker.
First one was a thing of beauty. Got to love the kid’s fearlessness.
Great goals…just not his debut.
I loved his pass at 4:46. Here’s hoping he’s not a flash in the pan. Seems to have the aggressiveness and skill required to keep improving.
