Duff plays on the left side which is where Dempsey has played most of the last year or so. I suppose Duff is more an out and out winger, but still there are only so many positions on the field. If Dempsey has to play right midfield he will compete with Simon Davies (when he's healthy) and Gera. I wonder how this affects Dempsey.
