England International Ashley Cole just got paid after agreeing to a four year deal with Chelsea that will pay the 28 year old 120,000 Pound a week, making him the highest paid outside back in the world.

The 28-year-old has put pen to paper on a new contract worth £25million as the Blues fought off competition from Barcelona and Real Madrid, reports The Sun.

Cole has become one of the Barclays Premier League’s most consistent performers and Chelsea were desperate not to lose the England left-back.

The Stepney-born player moved to Stamford Bridge from Arsenal in 2006 and has made 84 appearances for the club including two goals.
