Manchester United Making The Move For Arjen Robben?

Arjen Robben

The latest in the rumor mill has Manchester United interested in making a move for “out of favor” Netherlands International and 25 Million Pound rated Real Madrid winger Arjen Robben.

Via DailyMail

The Holland star is out of a favour at Real Madrid and is eyeing a return to the Barclays Premier League.

Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted that he will not sign any more players this summer - but he may be tempted with a move for £25million-rated Robben.

He has been outstanding in pre-season games for Real but coach Manuel Pelligrini is having trouble accommodating him with new arrivals Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka and Karim Benzema.

Robben was close to joining United before he signed for Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven in 2004 and would provide the speed and goals neither Antonio Valencia nor Nani can offer.

Ferguson still has most of the £80m they received from Real for Ronaldo.

This would be great, on top a quality player there can be competition between him and RVP as to who can be the most injured dutch player in the EPL.

why do we need him? Nani and Valencia are quality players.

Offer them much less. Transfer window is closing AND RM has too much surplus. Intelligent on Ferguson as he knows how to play the transfer window to it’s fullest. I mean, Owen on a Free? Valencia for a bargain? Obertan and Biram Diouf as gambles?! This man is creating the future World Player of the Year! Let us not forget about Tosic and Lejmac (sp?).

I think he would be a good fit at Arsenal. Not for that price of course but him, Arshavin and RVP up top would make for a pretty lethal combo.
