Sen. Ted Kennedy died shortly before midnight Tuesday at his home in Hyannis Port, Mass., at age 77.
i killed a lady in a dui and after i left her to drown… but this is america and i bought justice and now i become a career politician and now i get to be on a soccer blog… go revs!
I killed a girl in a dui but every good thing I’ve ever done for the rest of my life to atone for this grave mistake evidently doesn’t matter in comparison to that one night. Good things, mind you, that favor people much less fortunate than myself. He was by no means a perfect man. Go Fulham!
This man left someone to die and saved himself, I don’t care about what supposed good that he has done to atone for the death, he was only furthering his political family’s fortune. Michael Vick has done more to atone for he did than Ted has ever done. The man left a woman to drown and then what reported 24 hours later, she never got justice.
holy crap…i agree with all above comments.
There are many bad things to say about Teddy, but for today I will only say: Rest in peace.
A serious legislator in a frivolous age.
Lets not also forget that he got expelled from Harvard for paying someone to take his spanish test.
While he did a good job as a senator, 46yrs is way too much. Hopefully with Edwards passing people will call for term limits.
wow no respek for the dead, he has done more for our civil rights and liberties than a lot of us realise and fought the draconian republican machine which has descended in to communist mudslingers and town hall screamers, he could have done a lot worse as a richboy respeck teddy, RIP…GOP bad
Paulie, You’re a very stupid man. I laugh at your bullsh*t statement. Those people in the town hall meetings have every right to be there and show how pissed off they are and it has nothing to do with a political party, but everything to with the Goverment needing to realize that they work for us and we tell them what we need. But I guess your to deep in your consipracy theories to even know what the majority of Americans want. Further more, before you throw around the word Communism, be sure to know what that is and what it’s like. Talk to people who have lived through it. America and what the GOP are about is the furthest thing from it! It’s time to wake up and go against the 2 party system and figure a way to bring America back on top. About Ted Kennedy, I didn’t like him nor did I ever care for him. But, I do hope he made peace with his maker and the families he hurt. Paulie, grow up and get educated.
@ The Truth…agreed. Let him be though, I guess he doesnt realize that over a decade the nation is projected to be 9 TRILLION in debt. Its okay though, everyone will get new cars and refridgerators. We’re thinking of new ways to spend, but never new ways to be financially strong. Doesnt Paulie live in the UK anyways? He should be worried about the taxes over there going up, lord knows theyll be here soon enough.
