Wesley Sneijder

Holland International Wesley Sneijder looks set to join Serie A Champions Inter Milan after agreeing to a 15 Million Euro deal with Real Madrid even though the La Liga side paid 27 Million Euro for the creative midfielder back in August of 2007.

Sneijder is the latest in a long line of players to leave Madrid this summer in the wake of the club’s return to the galaticos era. More than €250m (£220m) has been spent by the Spanish club on the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaká, Karim Benzema and Xabi Alonso.

Alongside Sneijder, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Alvaro Negredo, Javier Saviola, Míchel Salgado, Gabriel Heinze, Fabio Cannavaro and Javi García have all left Real this summer with another Holland forward, Arjen Robben, also expected to do so shortly. The former Chelsea winger has agreed a four-year contract with Bayern Munich.

Wouldnt this make him ineligable to play for Inter during the Champs league?

No because Madrid hasnt played a champions league match yet and the rosters havent been decided. Is Van de Vaart heading anywhere? I thought I heard Arsenal somewhere but not sure. I like him out on the wing better than Bendtner.

Crazy how much jumping around of big name players has happened this summer. Feels like a lot more than previous years.
