It’s fireseason, but it has been exceptionally strange the last few days, since i guess there has not been the usual winds to dispurse the smoke. The mushroom cloud looming above the city really have a visceral effect, since from my office i can see downtown, and looming for what seems like a mile over the tallest building in downtown, is the smoke from the fire. That cloud is so friggin huge. It looks like a giant Mt. Fuji. I have to remind myself how truly horrible it is while I’m marveling at the beauty of it.
