Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 Test Drive
Filed under: Pro Evolution Soccer, Video GamesToday was one of those days where I felt like I got to see behind the curtain. I got invited down to Konami headquarters to give the new Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 a test drive. Apparently I was the first person on the west coast who had the honor of playing the game and seeing what is on deck for PES 2010.
I played a couple games, and I’ll admit that although I wasn’t lighting things up, I did go undefeated with a record of 1-0-1. The game is incredible, especially when we played in full HD. The graphics jumped, game play was on point and the options that are included in this version are endless. Unfortunately I couldn’t take any pictures of the actual game while we were playing, but trust me when I say this game is incredible.
The game is slated to drop early November, so definitely keep an eye out for it. Thanks BC and Tim for letting me in the batcave and taking PES 2010 for a spin.

I’m a FIFA guy and I’ve never been tempted to switch to PES.
Fifa is the arcade footie game out there. PES is where its at for the true footie gamers. You can play Fifa for the first time and be pretty good at it. You cant do that with PES because you’ll be terrible.
no licensing no care. thats what makes FIFA, FIFA. PES looks great and all, but the more ‘realistic’(in terms of clothing, names, badging, etc) the game feels the better.
FIFA 10 is pushing hard through EA. Everything looks similar to 09. With that said, I’ll still buy for competitive aspect as I got amazing at 09. PES, like someone else said, not very attractive.
