It’s Labor Day weekend which means 3 days of, BBQ, sun and hanging with friends and fam and according to some, no more wearing of white. Labor Day always represents the end of summer. After Labor Day it’s back to school, autumn weather (for some) and shorter days.  So as summer closes out, I figured now is a good time to post some pictures from Slim Aarons. Not only did dude capture summer moments perfectly, but he also claimed that “the only beach worth landing on was decorated with beautiful, seminude girls tanning in a tranquil sun.” Ya dig! Plus he’s got a great name…sounds like a poker player from back in the day. And he had a book of photos called “Poolside with Slim Aarons.”

I’ve officially added to my to do list in life a book of my own photos centered around the pool. “Poolside with Beans” might not have the same ring to it, but damn it would be fun to do.
