The Last Truck:Closing of A GM Plant - HBO

Another well done documentary by HBO. No matter which side of the fence you come out on as far as UAW and American workers and SUVs or whatever, when you meet the people, you cant help but relate. Its worth the hour, trust.

i feel somewhat bad for these folks, but did anybody notice, that all interviews were conducted in TRUCKS?? that they purchased well BELOW sticker value!! nobody trying to catch a bus to,DQ,THE MALL,JANITOR. i live close to a GM parts factory, now closed. the area was thriving when it opened up early 70’s,still is 09,with the plant closed. and this in WV,where they had transfers from BUFF,BALT COLOMBUS. the unions killed the auto industry.it be funny if McDONALDS formed a NATIONWIDE UNION,so when u went through the drive thru,a 17yr old kid droped your drink on the side of your 1/2 priced truck. when u got mad,he said u gotta talk to my union stewart!! go out and find a job,or your UNION probably has one already set up for,”you poor people!”
