The self proclaimed ‘Saviour of Rap’ has undergone successful ACL surgery about a month after collapsing onstage while performing alongside Lil’ Wayne.

After performing his hit ‘Best I Ever Had’ at the BET Awards in a wheelchair, and slipping on stage with Lil Wayne damaging the same knee again the following month, he went under the knife this week and it was last night announced that the operation was a success with his official DJ tweeting:

“Surgery was successful, day 1 on the road to greatness! Drizzy Drake performing in a city near you soon!”
