Not good news at all for Manchester City after club record signing Robinho was officially ruled out for a minimum of four weeks after suffering a stress fracture while away with Brazil.

Manchester City forward Robinho will be out for up to four weeks after suffering a stress fracture to his ankle while on international duty.

The Brazilian, who was absent for City’s 4-2 win against Arsenal on Saturday, will miss the derby against Manchester United on 20 September.

The former Real Madrid player sustained the injury during the 3-1 victory against Argentina on 6 September.
