David Beckham right, grapples with FC Dallas’ Daniel Hernandez during a scuffle after their match, on Saturday night, in Carson, Calif. FC Dallas won 6-3.

David Beckham could face MLS disciplinary action for the second time in a month.

Story via DailyMail

“David Beckham faces his second ban in a month after grabbing an opponent round the next at the end of a crushing defeat for the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Team-mate Landon Donovan could also be in trouble after an alleged slap on Dallas midfielder David Ferreira that appeared to start the rumpus.

Daniel Hernandez then pushed Donovan, at which point Beckham took exception and put his hands around the Texan.”

Don’t fine him for showing passion and standing up for his teammate.

  2. Will Speck says

I agree. Suspend him for trying to choke another player.

standing up for his teammate? you do forget that this was all because of donovans DIRTY tackle on the dallas player. What is becks “standing up” for exactly? Suspend his ass.

Anyone think hes causing all this controversy to make a last ditch attempt to move to Milan. Pissing off the coach and fans will help his cause. amirite?

For once (okay more than once), I’m proud of Becks. Is choking the loophole to throwing a punch and certainly getting ejected because there’s a lot of it going around.

  6. Alex says

Becks doesn’t like this losing stuff. No need to go all “Latrell Sprewell” on Hernandez though.

  7. Guv'na says

It was all handbags, but the lack of passion in the MLS is terrible, at least Becks shows some heart, right or wrong you always defend a team mate!
