Many moons ago the Dassler brothers got in a messy fight, split up and as a result we now have the behemoth brands of adidas and PUMA. The brothers have both since passed on and different owners have owned both brands since the brothers ran their businesses. And now, with Peace Day happening on September 21st, employees from both companies will be shaking hands, playing in a soccer game, and watching the movie “The Day After Peace.”

“These events. according to a joint statement from both companies, will be the first joint activities of  both companies  since their  founders Rudolf and Adi Dassler left their shared firm and established  adidas and PUMA.”
