After being substituted by Jose Mourinho last week during Inter’s 2 – 1 win over Udinese and making sure everyone in the stadium knew how unhappy he was about it, Ghana International Sulley Muntari (who already had an issue with The Special One over his Ramadan fasting) is being linked with his former boss Ol’ Harry Redknapp and Tottenham.

A reunion with Harry Redknapp, the manager who paid £7m to sign the powerful Ghana international from Udinese in 2007, is now on the cards for January with the midfielder eager to play week-in ahead of the World Cup in South Africa next summer.
Although Muntari dismissed reports suggesting his unhappiness in Italy last month, his representative Frank Schreier revealed interest from Spurs, saying: ‘The two clubs are still talking about this case. It could happen.’
Muntari, 25, blossomed as a Premier League star under the guidance of Redknapp, helping Pompey lift the FA Cup before his departure to Inter and his possible switch to White Hart Lane would do much to improve Tottenham’s midfield in the absence of injured Croatian playmaker Luca Modric.
