Everything Old Is New Again

I’m back in my old stomping grounds for the next nine months or so, and it’s amazing how different / the same, that things look. I haven’t spent much more than a Sunday night dinner in these parts for years, so it’s been an interesting ride. A lot of things have changed, and a lot are still the same. The thing that has changed the most is my own outlook…even if the things I’m looking at haven’t changed in the last 10 years. And that is a pretty cool thing…

I could wax poetic about all the images in this post. But I’m gonna hold off on that for now. There will be plenty of time for that sort of thing.

Perception is an individual thing, and we all have our own. We can look at the same thing for years, but once our perception changes, whatever it was we have looked at for years will never quite look the same. Just like the images above. Things done changed…

Wow…… Only a select few will ever be able to say they were able to drop $2.99 (even if it’s $4.99 now) at Spire’s and get the meal they got before heading to the 7am Sociology class.
    Things done changed.
