The LA Galaxy visited the Houston Dynamo this afternoon and I took a couple snaps.  It was a nice 72 degree day without a cloud in the sky - perfect for futbol.

Walking around Robertson Stadium before the game I spotted some Bethlehem Steel

The Dynamo Girls had great attitudes.  Got a compliment on my shirt too, which was nice.

This was Beck’s first trip to the Bayou City.

The crowd was a sellout and definitely pumped.  I’d never seen so much tailgating before a Dynamo match.

On the wall of Robertson - “Damned United” opens here on October 22nd.

These H-O-U-S-T-O-N  D-Y-N-A-M-O fans heartily booed Beckham all afternoon.

Check out Becks midway through the second half - smiling and laughing.

The game ended in a 0-0 tie.

Local Houston news coverage (video) including the Becks-Ricardo Clark/Ching flareup here.

Several shots on goal w both teams. The field was pretty torn up. No highlights up yet.

I’m from LA but happened to be in Houston this weekend. I went to the match and the atmosphere was great. The Houston fans were very knowledgeable and vocal throughout the match.

Too bad the highlights of the match were bad touches, slow speed, and a skirmish.
